About Turtleman

Turtleman is a free comic, inspired by the great cheap superhero comics of the 60s and 70s (especially our fave, the Phantom). Turtleman is pointless and possibly the most useless superhero ever (aren't they all though?). Developed as a travelling aid (to prevent boredom and communicate efficiently to the troops back home without endless phone calls), Turtleman leans into "AI Slop" making it a feature, not a bug.

Volume 2 — The travel stuff, 2025 and 2026

Turtleman in India

Issue 4 is Turtleman in India. Trade shows, tech summits, hotel bars and long days in a costume that was not designed for the climate.

Turtleman in Indo

Issue 5 is Turtleman in Indonesia. A family holiday through Bali and Lombok: scooters and ferries, airport runs, villas full of cats, gluten-free optimism, beach bars, minor illness, and the usual slow heroics in a place that does not care about capes.

Turtleman in South America

Issue 6 is Turtleman in South America. A family run through Buenos Aires, Mendoza and Manzano: long-haul flights, airport lounges, altitude mishaps, horses, river dinners, stray logistics, light confusion across borders, and plenty of beer.

Turtleman’s Sydney adventure is a caffeine-fuelled loop of wrong trams, serious meetings, old friends, too many coffees, too many beers, and just enough business to justify it all.
